Rainy day

Ah, it’s been a miserably wet day.

The kids thought this was hilarious:

They say apples, I see bowls of butts.

They say apples, I see bowls of butts.

This was in my teacher guide for Christian Light math 200.

I had to wait for my allergy meds to kick in before we continued on with the day, so math was cut in half in order to make sure we had enough time for the home made pop tarts.

I ended up having to add a drop of milk to the dough to make it mix properly.

NAILED IT!

No, not really, I didn’t nail it. I chilled the dough for longer than the 20 minutes but it is hot in the house today, so it started to fall apart while peeling it off the bag.  I also measured to cut the squares and apparently my measuring is off today.  Maybe it’s the allergy meds 0_O

Out the oven

The edges got kinda crispy in the oven, I don’t know if it’s my oven or the added milk or what, but that’s what it did.  No burnt taste though.

Not my best work, but the kids liked it!
